Security

Determining proper security access is key to successful data management. In Versatile Professional, security may be assigned at several levels. The highest level of security is added by assigning Administrator rights to a user. The next level of security is the security group. Security groups are designed to limit access to the following:

Versatile Professional functionality; for example, the ability to delete records.

Data in the database; the ability to access records in a particular company, department, or record center.

Once security groups with specific access rights have been defined, these rights are assigned to particular users throughout your organization by adding them to a security group.
