Versatile Express™ is Zasio’s easy-to-use records collection tool that can be used by anyone, anywhere to manage physical records. Whether your files are still in use and need to be accessed regularly (“active”) or stored in boxes and put away for eventual disposition (“inactive”), Express helps you track their locations at all times.
You can also set up a retention schedule, and box your inactive files according to the date they are scheduled to be destroyed or permanently archived. Policies may be defined by department or for an entire organization. With the built-in e-mail manager, you can even store and apply retention to incoming and outgoing e-mail.
Versatile Express supports robust full-text searching and includes an integrated reporting system. Express also supports direct-interface barcoding and contains a built-in imaging system. The Versatile Color Label Designer, included with the software, allows users to create and print dynamic color-coded labels for files and boxes.
Express’s Customize feature lets you change the names of dialog boxes, buttons, columns headings, and menu options. You can also create user-defined fields, such as a memo, text, or numeric field, to add relevant and consistent information to your records.
