Boise, Idaho. – February 20, 2007 – Zasio Enterprises is pleased to announce the March 12, 2007 release of Versatile Retention 7. This user-friendly software-based research tool makes it easy for organizations to identify records retention requirements and create legally complaint retention schedules.
“We are committed to offering a superior solution and listening to our customers," said Kevin Zasio, President of Zasio Enterprises, Inc. "Version 7 demonstrates this with the inclusion of Oracle and SQL support and a variety of feature enhancements, many of which have been suggested by our users.”
Versatile Retention has been entirely redesigned from the ground up. The simplified user interface makes it easier to search and locate regulatory requirements. The new design gives more flexibility and control over researching, gathering interview data, and creating schedules.
The ability to create global retention schedules, as well as hierarchical schedules has been included. Additionally, powerful grid functions that allow filtering, sorting, and grouping of citations and schedules have been added in the Research, Schedules, and Interviews modules.
An automatic citation count has been added, so users can see ahead of time the number of citations they will need to browse, and enter more filters if they want to narrow down their results. Reporting has been enhanced to include the ability to report on the entire organizational schedule, or to include subdepartments when reporting on departmental schedules, rather than having to report on each department separately.
A new robust “add-on” Web module will now offered to Versatile Retention customers. Versatile Retention Web enables remote offices the same functionality as the standard client software, but through their Web browser. Corporate-wide retention schedules can be automatically published on a corporate intranet site. The new interface puts researching and viewing retention schedules within everyone’s reach. |
