Boise, Idaho. – June, 2005 –We are please to announce the upcoming release of version 7 of the Versatile Module.The Versatile web add-on module has long been a convenient tool for Versatile Enterprise users. Version 7 places even more functionality within everyone's reach.
Version
7 utilizes XML technology, allowing it to interface with many different
Web services. The entire data access layer has been rewritten to be more
portable and efficient, making installation and maintenance very simple.
Enhanced security allows more tightly controlled access to departments
and record series.
End users will appreciate the ability to see the status of existing box
creation requests, print box labels right from the browser, and view complete
online retention schedules at global, company, or department levels. Search
options have been improved to include storage room, media type, and content
dates.
Zasio
developers, QA staff, and technical writers are putting the finishing
touches on the final product and a specific release date will be announced
shortly. Existing users of the Web module will receive email notification
