Boise, Idaho. – May 1, 2008 – Zasio Enterprises is pleased to announce the latest upgrade to Versatile Retention - v7.1. The continuous development of Zasio’s retention research and schedule building software, along with its commitment to its customers, is evident in this latest version. Enhancements were made to both the client server version, as well as to the web module.
Customers now have several database options on which to install the software. In addition to supporting SQL Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express databases, version 7.1 now supports an Oracle database.
A new internal software update service has been added. This service checks for updates on the Zasio retention server and downloads those updates through the internet. These updates are then propagated to clients as they use the software. This new feature coincides with the “LIVE” update method already enjoyed by customers in which new and updated citations are downloaded through the internet.
A Review Flags feature has been added in the Research, Schedules, and Interviews options to allow users to easily flag or bookmark items for later review and action. For example, a review flag with a status of “Follow up” may be entered on a schedule title to indicate that a follow-up interview is needed.
